§ 01 · Problem

Pricing in live deals was hand-math.

Vena's pricing has enough moving parts (seats, modules, contract length, volume breaks, multi-year discount) that quoting something accurately on a call meant either stalling the conversation or risking a bad number.

AEs were rebuilding the same spreadsheet every quarter. Forecasts got lazy. Negotiations got slower. Nobody had a single source of truth.

§ 02 · Solution

A calculator that anyone on the floor can trust.

Started as my personal spreadsheet. Ported to a clean internal app with the pricing logic centralized. Every AE sees the same math. Quote, proposal, and forecast in one flow.

§ 03 · Outcome

Adopted across three segments without a mandate.

No rollout program. AEs saw other AEs using it, asked for access, and it spread. That kind of organic adoption is the highest bar for an internal tool.
